Briefcase: Overview
Use Briefcase to:

Connect – Connect to and browse
computers (and devices running Briefcase) on a local network, as well as remote
machines with their own internet address. In addition to Macs, iPhones and iPods
Touch, you can connect to any machine supporting SSH. (Note:some support is offered
for connection with Windows but it requires a moderately high degree of technical knowledge.)

Download Files – Securely download any type of file or
directory. (Note: for security reasons downloading of files from other iPhones
is not supported.)

View Files – View your Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Word, Excel,
MP3, M4V, and PDF files…and more.

Upload Files – Securely upload files stored in Briefcase to
another Mac or iPhone. When transferring files to a Mac you can perform functions
specific to the file type: set an image file as a desktop background or add it to
iPhoto, for example.

download directories as well as files.

File Upload – With Briefcase, you can upload files to
another iPhone. Likewise, any type of file, including disk images and installer
packages, can be uploaded to another machine, with the option to perform related
actions (e.g. mount disk image or install package).

available free of charge.
